Directors Note:

For some time now, I have shared my firm belief that porn has ‪Purpose. That statement is often met with blank faces and eyerolls. Ironically most of the eye-rolling comes from fellow folks working in or consuming porn. How often have I heard, “Shut up – it’s JUST porn!” Or even more cynically — “It’s just porn, we’re not curing cancer!”

It is in those moments that I feel more connected to my purpose of porn, remembering back to my early teens when overcome by the confusion of conscious and desire, I found and stole my first gay porn magazine — Blonds Do It Best. And it was in that moment, that I was FINALLY able to see, in vivid color, what I have been imagining, wanting and believing was true. I was not crazy, I was not a mistake, I was normal — and in that moment Porn had Purpose— if only for a instant, helping to quiet my self-defeating thoughts: the cancer of my mind.

Like so many, I lied about who I was for many, many years: sex was secret, sex was hidden, and being TOO GAY was a big NO-NO!

It was not until I began working with so many of the young men at CockyBoys did I begin to learn, grow and thrive based on their openness, self-love and joy of being gay. Many had come out in high school or SOONER, something that was unimaginable for me. This work has been one of the great joys of my life and it’s my goal with everyone I work with that they, too, find their purpose in their work and move forward in their life with the same pride in knowing that I believe they are heroes in my mind. (Cue eyeroll!)

Today, we are celebrating a new kind of sexual revolution. Porn is becoming less taboo, Sex is an app-swipe away and stigmas are fading as the need to lie about who we are (while still challenging) has become less so.

Yet, we face new challenges as we embrace our newfound openness — like the need to tribalize (and even fetishize) sex, race and masculinity — as we sign in, upload and check off the buttons of preference on our way to pre-negotiated sex; in that process many may be missing the opportunity to truly explore and discover who they are, still trapped in the “what will people think” section of their mind.

That is why I have asked some of the boys and men I know to openly share their authentic self in this new series — JUST BEING ME.

Scene Description:

Accepting who they are as gay men and being free to express themselves was a learning experience for both Ben Masters & Levi Karter and it was one of the reasons why hit it off when they met. But it wasn't until they went to Fire Island that Ben found out this was where Levi really set himself free. And, thanks to Levi's influence Ben also learned to just be.

One afternoon on their Fire Island getaway Levi takes Ben out to one of his favorite spots, a wooded area where they can make out in the open and have some hot fun. Soon Levi takes Ben to another favorite place: in the grassy dunes near the shore. And once again they throw caution to the wind as Ben fucks Levi on his back and makes out with him. Ben thrusts into Levi until he cums over himself and explodes in joyous euphoria. Soon after Ben pulls out and jacks off a thick ropy cum load over Levi and he too joins in the happy emotional release. They get up while they're still in their ecstatic afterglow and run naked towards the water, totally free.
